Sensor Medica @SAM2024 (Florida)

Participation in SAM 2024 with the support of the European Union – FESR

The project “International Expansion of Sensor Medica in the North American Market – SAM 2024” was carried out with co-financing from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (FESR), as part of the Lazio Regional Program FESR 2021-2027.

Sensor Medica participated in the Science and Management Symposium (SAM), one of the most important educational and commercial events in the U.S. podiatry sector, organized annually by the Florida Podiatric Medical Association (FPMA). The event was held in Orlando, Florida, from January 24 to 28, 2024.

The project’s objective was to consolidate and strengthen Sensor Medica’s presence in the North American market, with a special focus on the podiatry sector, by offering advanced technologies for gait, posture, and load analysis, particularly the Freemed and Spine3D systems.

Thanks to the contribution of FESR, it was possible to:
• Set up an exhibition stand aligned with the company’s identity and tailored to the expectations of the U.S. market, facilitating interaction with clinicians, specialists, and potential business partners.
• Cover participation, logistics, transportation, and on-site technical support costs.
• Adapt technical and promotional materials to U.S. regulations and language requirements.
• Promote Sensor Medica devices within a Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME)-accredited event, ensuring visibility and credibility among healthcare professionals.

Participation in SAM 2024 marked a significant step in Sensor Medica’s internationalization process, enabling the company to establish new collaborations, assess the commercial potential of its solutions in the U.S. market, and strengthen its distribution network in North America.

The initiative was also made possible thanks to the contribution of the Internationalization Voucher for SMEs – PR FESR 2021/2027, for an amount of €15,240.00.
