Participation in CMEF 2024 with the support of the European Union – FESR

The project “International expansion of Sensor Medica in Asian markets – CMEF 2024” was carried out with co-financing from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (FESR), within the Lazio Regional Program FESR 2021-2027, in compliance with the publicity obligations set out in Articles 49, 50, and Annex IX of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 – RDC.

Sensor Medica took part in the 2024 edition of the China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), one of the world’s most important trade fairs dedicated to technological innovation in the biomedical sector. The project’s goal was to strengthen the commercial presence of the Sensor Medica brand in Asia, particularly in the Chinese market, fostering the launch of new distribution partnerships and the consolidation of the Spine3D network of specialized centers.

Thanks to the contribution of FESR, it was possible to:

• Set up a customized booth at the fair, representing the brand with communication materials aligned with the company’s strategy.

• Cover logistical, transportation, and technical support costs for participating in the event.

• Translate and adapt promotional materials and technical sheets into Chinese.

• Enhance the international promotion of high-tech products, such as Spine3D and Freemed, to a highly qualified professional audience.

The support received from the European Union played a key role in the company’s internationalization, contributing to the development of strategic business relationships, the promotion of Made in Italy innovation in the biomedical sector, and the enhancement of scientific research applied to medical technology.

With these characteristics, CMEF was chosen by Sensor Medica as the ideal platform to introduce its technology to the Chinese market and the entire Far East region. The event facilitated valuable exchanges with industry professionals who showed great interest in the equipment and shared experiences with our specialists. We encountered a highly receptive audience and anticipate significant results.
