Participation in OT-World 2024 with the support of the European Union – FESR

The project “International Expansion of Sensor Medica in the European Market – OT-World 2024” was carried out with co-financing from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (FESR), as part of the Lazio Regional Program FESR 2021-2027.

Sensor Medica took part in the 2024 edition of OT-World, the leading European trade fair dedicated to orthopedic technology and rehabilitation technology, held in Leipzig from May 14 to 17. The project’s objective was to strengthen Sensor Medica’s commercial presence in the European market, fostering relationships with specialized professionals in the orthopedic and prosthetic sector and expanding its network of distributors across EU countries.

Thanks to the contribution of FESR, it was possible to:
• Set up a customized stand, aligned with the brand’s visual identity, designed to showcase Sensor Medica’s innovative technologies.
• Manage logistics and organizational costs related to participation, ensuring a continuous professional and technical presence throughout the event.
• Translate and adapt communication materials and technical datasheets into multiple European languages, facilitating dialogue with professionals from over 90 countries.
• Promote high-tech products, such as Spine3D and Freemed, to a highly specialized international audience interested in cutting-edge solutions for rehabilitation, posture analysis, and movement assessment.

The event was a unique opportunity to engage with key players in the sector: 574 exhibitors from 42 countries and over 20,000 visitors from 96 nations attended the fair, confirming OT-World as a strategic platform for knowledge exchange and new business opportunities.

The support received from the European Union played a crucial role in accelerating Sensor Medica’s internationalization process, enhancing the excellence of Made in Italy in the biomedical field, and increasing the company’s visibility in the European rehabilitation technology sector.

The initiative was also made possible thanks to the contribution of the Internationalization Voucher for SMEs – PR FESR 2021/2027, for an amount of €15,240.00.
