EASYCAD2 is the innovative Sensor Medica software designed for the CAD-CAM modeling of insoles, offering a complete and advanced system for the creation of customized orthoses.

Representing the latest evolution of Sensor Medica’s 3D insole modeling software, EASYCAD2 elevates the design experience to new levels of precision and efficiency. The intended uses of the software are:

  • Custom Design: Create custom-made insoles to meet an individual’s specific needs based on precise foot measurements, such as impressions or 3D scans.
  • Assisted Manufacturing: The software generates the files needed to produce the insole, which can be used by computer numerical control (CNC) machines, 3D printers, or other digital manufacturing technologies.
  • Efficiency and Precision: By automating part of the design and manufacturing process, the software reduces the time and costs associated with the production of insoles, while improving the precision of the final product.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

DATABASE

Each project is stored in a database, together with the patient's personal data, and is equipped with a search bar, allowing efficient management of information related to customized orthoses for each patient.

TEMPLATE

In Template mode, it is possible to intervene in the 3D modeling of the insole by modifying the template. The template represents the outline of the insole, and along it there are several vertices that can be manipulated to customize the orthosis according to the patient's needs.

EDIT

The Edit function allows for detailed and precise customization of the insole in three dimensions. The user can intervene on specific areas of the insole, such as the heel, the medial arch, the lateral arch and the winding. To optimize the structure and adapt it perfectly to the patient's needs.

ELEMENTS

Elements include various types of supports such as bowls, wedges, medial and lateral arches, and other specific details such as drops, useful for creating additional lift or support in areas that need more attention.

POST PROCESSING

Post Processing is an advanced 3D sculpting tool, essential for refining and customizing the surface of the insole. This tool allows operators to intervene on the morphology of the insole, making precise changes that adapt to the patient's needs.

ANALYSIS

The EasyCAD2 Analysis interface allows you to numerically adjust the distances and heights of the 3D insole, ensuring precise adaptation to the patient's needs.

PRINTING

The Printing mode offers advanced features to prepare the insole for production, the operator can export the insole in .stl format, ideal for 3D printing, or in GCODE, a specific format for controlling milling machines.

EXAMS LOADING

In addition to the classic insole modeling, EasyCAD2 offers the possibility of creating insole modeling starting from a previously performed exam, such as: Pressure, from baropodometric exams on a platform. Scan3D, from exams acquired via Podoscan3D. Scan2D, from exams acquired via Podoscan2D.
